Siemens en el contexto de la Industria 4.0

Algunas estrategias para mantener y ampliar sus capacidades tecnológicas y de aprendizaje organizacional

Resumen

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar cuáles son algunas de las estrategias seguidas por el corporativo Siemens para ampliar tanto sus capacidades de aprendizaje como las ligadas a la innovación digital. Es un estudio de caso que documenta el por qué este corporativo es considerado como uno de los líderes tecnológicos en el contexto de la Industria 4.0. Con base en el resultado de la investigación se encuentra que esta empresa internacional, como parte de su estrategia, descentralizó muchas plantas ligadas a sus líneas de negocio fuera de Alemania y también llevó a cabo múltiples acuerdos de colaboración y join ventures. De igual forma, capacita de manera continua a su personal, establece nexos con instituciones educativas e impulsa internamente una cultura corporativa que facilita el aprendizaje laboral, la flexibilidad y su adaptación a los cambios del contexto.
