This paper describe the experiences of the Digital Manufacturing Workshop for Artisans and Artists (TFDI, acronym in spanish)designed and executed at the Institute of Design and Technological Innovation (IDIT, acronym in spanish) of the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla. Two success stories are described and, in the end, some data of the research carried out by Gonzalo Pérez Ramírez, from the Universidad Anáhuac México, are presented to obtain the degree of Doctor of Innovation and Social Responsibility.
