Ten years ago, on January 12, 2010, Haiti was struck by an earthquake so devastating that, to this day, it has not been able to fully recover. From the desire not to forget the consequences of this tragedy, the book entitled El hambre de Haití. Terremoto, olvido y paradojas de la solidaridad explains why a natural catastrophe can turn into a social tragedy when foreign governments, in the name of international cooperation, decide on the financial resources provided for the rebuilding of the country in ruins.
