The nutrition as a synchronizer of the circadian system

Nutrition is one of the most important processes for the maintenance of life in living beings, since it comprises the adequate mechanisms for obtaining nutrients, being one of the most important fields of health, especially in lifestyles and its application in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. However, currently there are topics that have not yet been fully analyzed in this area, such as the influence of nutrition on the circadian system and vice versa. In the present essay, subjects that direct the reader through the basic concepts of chronobiology and its possible application to this field of health are approached, more specifically to that of nutrition; In addition, some of the advances in this topic and even suggestions for circadian health put forth by the different authors are presented.
