Presents a chapter from the collection of chronicles entitled De flores y montañas. Memorias de un refugio en San Cristóbal de las Casas, by Héctor Jorge Ordóñez Monribot (Zacatecas, 1990); published by Ibero León in 2018 and presented at the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The author is a graduate in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana León. The work, his opera prima, is the result of his experiences as a social service volunteer, in the modality of insertion, and later as coordinator at La Casa de las Flores, an organization that serves indigenous girls and boys in conditions of street work and street vending, located in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. About this book, the writer Juan Villoro commented on its back cover: "Journal of an apprenticeship among those who have nothing, Of flowers and mountains. Memories of a refuge in San Cristóbal de las Casas opens a window to a country of solidarity, still in the future, which begins to exist in these pages".
