Abstract

As a result of a detailed process of critical revision of the neoliberal approach to integration, in the first years of the 21st century, Latin American and Caribbean integration mechanisms will be drastically reformulated, giving rise to a new stage in the regional integration process known as post-liberal Latinoamericanos, regionalism . Within this framework, a series of multilateral mechanisms will emerge in the region, whose emphasis will be on the social sphere, in the differential treatment, just and autonomous, and on the exclusion of the United States from these spaces. The ALBA-TCP is the most radical proposal.
