As a diffusion of contents media, the cinema from its very origin has been receptor and promoter of cultural identities. We have elements such as people and their behavior, but above all, their interests, since the “views” presented by Lumière brothers. By this fact we can consider cinema as a complex document that approaches to cultural identities of its producing, as well consuming, society. This goes beyond declared ideologies, maybe even with colonial intentions: It refers also to the form we have established in the relationship between humans and social environment, and by this way, transform it.
