Abstract

This work studies the idea of hero, as it is showed in some biographies dedicated to anarchist chiefs or to religious leaders. We focus on the resistance they show towards the system they inhabit. We use subaltern criticism, mythology and psychoanalysis to make our “sabotage”, as it is explained by Manuel Asensi, in order to achieve an “autosabotage”. Heroes we reflection upon are Antonio Soler’s El Noi del Sucre, José Peirat’s Emma Goldman, and Jacques Attali’s Gandhi, among others. Finally, we remark the use of satyagraha through these comparisons to resist even better than with sabotage, and to show the hero’s singularity
