Abstract

The General Law on Women's Access to a Life Free of Violence, like many other advances in public policy in our country, is the result of a series of historical events in the world that were key to the recognition of women at a global level. One of these great contributions, which helped to combat and prevent violence against women, was generated during the IV National Women's Conference held in Beijing in 1995.
