Abstract

Guanajuato Techno Park (GTP) was founded on october 27, 2011 as an initiative of the Government of the State of Guanajuato and University of Guanajuato, as a result of a joint interest to give an impulse to the knowledge economy in the state. Guanajuato Tecno Park is an institution for promoting innovation, the generation and managing of knowledge and technology flow amongst Universities, Institutitions of R+D+i, and industry, with the main objective of promoting and encouraging the creation, development and growth of companies and innovative projects with high technological impact, acting as a key player in the knowledge ecosystem and stimulating the generation of wealth and sustainable economic development in Guanajuato state.
