Situation of children and adolescents deprived of parental care in Mexico

Abstract

In the present work we corroborate that our country, Mexico, lacks accurate, reliable and enough information about the situation that children and adolescents deprived of parental care in residential institutions. I pose an overview of the situation in this sector of the child population, the violation of their human rights, some causes and consequences and most importantly, I pointed alternatives and lines of action for the restoration of their rights.
