The topic that we present to our kind readers in this issue becomes relevant with the approval of the so-called structural reforms, especially energy reforms, which tense the reality that many communities live today, especially rural and indigenous, in which threats to the territory and the criminalization of social protest are just some of the features that resistance movements face in the face of phenomena related to extractivism and development megaprojects.
