The present text seeks to show one of the views on the intersection between gender and social class in one of the polygons of poverty in the city of León Guanajuato known as Los Castillos. The following reflection is based on the contact established in the area for more than a year, derived from the work carried out jointly with the work team of the Centro de Derechos Humanos Victoria Diez A.C. It is concluded that the conditions of impoverishment are articulated with gender issues that place women and men, but mainly women, in conditions of greater discrimination and social exclusion.
