The debate around gender in the spanish language involves different spaces such as universities, NGO and goverments whom encourage and promote the use of the non sexist language versus the critics of the Royal Academy of Spanish Language and some writers.
This article analize the arguments of both perspectives and the proposals for linguistic and syntactic changes. It presents a review of the implications of the non sexist langage in the current context.
