Abstract

The present text reflects on the implications of current anthropocentric antropoligies in our own context; from the relation between the human being and nature to the media, cultural features and today values, educational models, interpersonal relationship and what is offered by news spiritualities. Subsequiently, two positions are presented describing “not anthropocentric anthropologies” based on the conceptions of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Xavier Zubiri, from which we outline a transcendental open anthropology, as a key to transform our environment and our own humanity.
