Abstract

There has always been an interconnected process of mutual configuration between world, humanity, and techno-science; we become the likeness and image of the processes and activities by which we interact with all our surrounding realities. So, modern reason is not only the instrumental reason denounced by the Frankfurt philosophical school but has become instrumentalist, it has imposed not only its laws and limits to our comprehension of our world, our humanity and our instruments or relating to both; surreptitiously it has configured the very structure of our lives and activities, the whole nature, to its formality, to reason and law. Disenchantment and ecological destruction are the outcome of this process and its comprehension of the world and human nature’s meaning and our relationship with them. It also points to its Greek philosophical rooting and the possibilities that the actuality and formality of our virtual worlds open to an epochal change.
