Abstract

In this brief article, we propose to expose in a simple and schematic way, the way Bourdieu describes and uses the notion of symbolic violence in two works that correspond to two very different moments of his long academic career. Understanding what symbolic violence is will allow us to construct a critical vision of the set of violences that affect us and that, in some way, have been addressed by different authors in this monographic issue of Entretextos.
