A proposal regarding indignation

Abstract

In these times, citizen participation is a decisive and defining factor for the future of our civilization. I do not exaggerate this statement for one simple reason: 76% of Mexico's population lives in cities. Very similar figures are recorded in the rest of the world, and the figure continues to grow exponentially. The city, then, is the place where the material, cultural, symbolic, educational and political boundaries that sustain our primordial way of coexistence are deliberated. Therefore, citizen participation is the lifeblood that will make it possible for such an immense organism to function.
