Artemio Narro has been interested in reflecting on violence and power structures; for this reason, he created a series of mandalas based on assault rifles, machine guns, goat horns and bayonets. His intention is to capture, in images that represent balance and peace, the violence that is lived in Mexico; he does not pretend, therefore, that his work is classified as narcoculture, he only wishes to expose that the thick caliber is the force that regulates the universe and invite the spectator to meditate on the cult of violence.
