This article presents the results of a documentary research study aimed at characterizing the profile of today’s university youth and its connection with ethical education processes. It explores sociocultural, psychological, and educational aspects that shape the practices, interests, and attitudes of higher education students. It also reflects on the implications of these traits for formative processes from a critical and humanistic perspective, emphasizing the role of educational institutions in promoting an ethics based on the common good, justice, and social responsibility.
