Plagiarism detection
The texts received are subject to review before sending them for editorial and academic opinion to certify that the published works are original. In order to identify coincidences or similarities, Entretextos analyzes the material received with Compilatio Magister Plus.
If the use of redundant or duplicate information is detected in a text submitted for publication, the procedure to follow is the one outlined in the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) in its diagram. The result will be confidential and only the person responsible for the article sent will be informed.
The manuscript will be discarded for publication if it exceeds 10% similarity with another text published or available on the Internet. The similarity scale allowed in Entretextos is the following:
1. The work goes to editorial opinion if it has minor coincidences (5%).
2. The report issued by the software is sent to members of the Editorial Committee if it has significant coincidences (6 to 9%).
3. The manuscript is rejected if the coincidences are greater than the established percentage (10% and more).
