Abstract

The 30th issue of Entretextos, dedicated to mathematics as a science and engine of the development of humanity, presents the importance and transcendence of the discipline as a tool and creation of knowledge, as well as its presence in any field of nature and everyday life. It highlights the work of mathematicians, scientists, engineers and thinkers of all times and cultures for the development of societies around the world, contributing both their theoretical creation and application.
