Abstract

We have been so apt pupils of the consumer era that we no longer recognize the indicators of our body. The bodily excesses in social disorders reflect our underlying longings: obesity to make us visible in an indifferent world; anorexia, precisely to act out the disqualification of a daily erasure. Fear, guilt and stress, our daily favorites served generously by digital and print media, constitute the basic diet with which we garnish the food we eat; note that I indicated food not nutrients.
