Benjamín Valdivia was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, in 1960. His literary work spans the genres of poetry, novels, short stories, theater and essays, both academic and literary. He has published multiple translations from English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German and Latin for various Mexican and foreign media. Other of his artistic practices are music, photography and theater.
