In this text I consulted the major studies on Internet in Mexico to retrieve the information offered about the Internet penetration in Mexican youth and the use of social networks. The four studies consulted were: 1) Survey on availability and use of information technology (MODUTIH) 2013, conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI); 2) Tenth study on the habits of Internet users in Mexico 2014, the Mexican Internet Association (AMIPCI); 3) 2013 study habits and perceptions of Mexicans over the Internet and various related technologies, conducted by the Mexico World Internet Project (WIP Mexico); 4) Study of Media consumption among Mexican Internet, the Interactive Advertising Bureau Mexico (IAB Mexico). Also was consulted on MKTdigital study and social networks in Mexico 2013, conducted by the AMIPCI.
