In this paper we reflect that part of what happens in the relationship of young people with new media has its roots when it emerges modernity and the media have played an important role in the establishment of a modern subject. What is now live is partly the extension of that project but under hypermodernity environments, so what young people are living experiences make a life beyond the approaches of early modernity and media work traditional communication.
