Contemporary life has significantly influenced physical activity and nutrition, two conscious and voluntary processes that are not always linked to a healthy lifestyle. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), poor diet and lack of physical activity are the cause of the main non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, certain types of cancer, diabetes, as well as obesity.
