Abstract

The change in democracy has to do with the way in which women participate politically in a country, in a locality, the easy reasoning concludes lightly that the contemporary reality is different, that now women participate in many spaces previously unthinkable, that their presence is visible, that the number of women professionals, deputies, senators, businesswomen or directors has increased; although this is true, the idea of such participation must be nuanced.
