Abstract

The Research in Nutrition Sciences has formed an important role in Mexico in the last decade to study and prevent chronic diseases in various stages. The case of chronic degenerative disease, chronic renal disease and its incidence has increased rapidly. Now days with the development of nutrigenomics and nutrigenomics it has obtained information to design diets to maintain health and prevent diseases based on human genome. In this article, we reviewed some results of research and experience in the renal disease and the role of nutrition therapy, prevention and research of molecular nutrition in kidney transplantation in Mexico are presented.
