Based on a manifestation of the disenchantment and uncertainty that characterize postmodern thinking, the school as an institution has lost strength in the formation of new citizens, in the face of other instances of social learning, such as the street, the media and peer groups. This phenomenon also entails the loss of the compass of teachers and educational authorities regarding their formative mission.
