Abstract

This paper is an econometric analysis of the relationship between the direct foreign investment and the labor informality in Mexico. Based on the OECD guidelines of Corporate Social Responsibility in multinational firms, and the Federal Government’s strategy showed on the National Development Plans of the last three presidential periods. The empirical evidence suggests an inverse relationship between direct foreign investment and labor informality.
