During the transmission of football games, constantly refers to the existence of nationalism, stressing the identity and belonging to it all members of society; behind that speech media there is another symbolic communication that established between the protagonists of the game within the field (players) and outside (fans) ranging from dyes religious and nationalistic connotations of violence and eroticism.
This article explores how from sports, builds a discourse of identity configured with symbols, phrases, myths, stereotypes and images, able to build a collective imaginary in football.
